Our social compliance policy includes the standards we have created by conducting teamwork based on our basic principles and values ​​together with all our business partners. Our goal is to ensure that the “Social Compliance Policy” becomes a corporate culture within SPC Kozmetik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. For this reason, social compliance standards have been created and started to be implemented. In addition to creating products and services with these social compliance standards, this policy undertakes to grant all rights of its employees arising from the standards within the framework of the law, to comply with occupational health and safety rules, to be sensitive to the environment, and to create a workplace where employees are respected and valued, with open and honest communication among employees. Forced Labor (Involuntary Labor)

Our workplace, forced labor, prison labor, apprenticeship contract, bonded labor, prohibits all forms of work, including military or slave labor and all forms of human trafficking.

Child Labor (Underage Employees)

Our workplace adheres to the minimum age provisions of applicable laws and regulations. Our workplace prohibits the employment of persons under the age of 18. Our workplace’s prohibition on child labor complies with the Labor Law, the Occupational Health and Safety Law, other legal regulations and International Labor Organization standards.

Discrimination

SPC Kozmetik will create a work environment where mutual trust and respect are essential. We will act only on the basis of the qualifications and skills required for the job to be performed in the employment and promotion of employees.

We will ensure that our employees work in safe and healthy conditions. No one can be pressured or forced regarding work and study.

We will make an effort to develop the personal talents and skills of each of our employees.

We will constantly provide the best communication with our employees through the company’s information resources and consultation procedures.

At SPC Kozmetik; no discrimination can be made based on social class, nationality, ethnic origin, religion, age, disability, gender, financial position, sexual orientation, union membership, political affiliation, health or pregnancy.

Personnel selection for the workplace is made based on qualifications such as open positions, education, interests, talent, work experience.

Freedom of Association

We respect our employees’ personal freedom of association.

Discipline, Mistreatment and Harassment

The disciplinary rules determined by the company to ensure disciplined work are applied. The company cannot apply any wage deduction sanction to discipline its employees.

The company is obliged to ensure the peace of the work environment and the happiness of its employees. The personality and dignity of each employee is respected. Institutional punishment, verbal, physical, sexual or psychological harassment, mobbing, threats or coercion are strictly prohibited.

Bribery and Corruption

SPC Kozmetik does not give or receive bribes directly or indirectly, and does not resort to improper means to obtain commercial or financial gain. None of our employees will accept or give any gift or money that constitutes or could be construed as a bribe. They will not engage in money laundering. Any request to give or receive a bribe or to use any other improper means will be rejected immediately and reported to management. The company employee who accepts money, gifts or benefits for an improper purpose or in an improper amount / value will be subject to action in accordance with the Business Principles Policy.

SPC Kozmetik’s accounting records will fully show and reflect the details of the transactions they contain.

SPC Kozmetik employees and their immediate family members must not request or accept money or gifts equivalent to money, travel expenses, commissions, loans, securities, free or discounted service from a business partner (in other words, construction or maintenance work, free phone or transportation, etc.) or favors from any third party, neither at work, nor at home, nor while traveling for the company.

Since giving gifts is a part of our national culture, it is not appropriate for an employee to give a pen, small calculator, It may be appropriate to accept gifts such as calendars, watches, cups, t-shirts, etc. However, such gifts should not be accepted regularly and continuously.

SPC Kozmetik prohibits any of its employees from offering/giving gifts, bribes or anything else that is persuasive, other than product samples. Any criminal acts or penalties that may arise under the law arising from such actions are solely the responsibility of the relevant person.

Working Hours and Wages (Wage / Salary)

Working hours are determined in accordance with the applicable laws and obligations. All overtime work is implemented within the framework of free will and voluntariness.

Our practices are carried out in full compliance with the applicable laws and employment contracts regarding wages, working hours and overtime. Taking the minimum wage as the minimum wage that employees can meet their living expenses as a basis; it is ensured that there is no wage below the minimum wage and that overtime wages are paid with additions as required by law. We offer our employees opportunities to develop their skills and capacities and support these efforts by offering promotion opportunities as much as possible.

Employees cannot be deprived of rest and holiday days within the framework of their legal rights. Employees who work five days a week are given two days off.

There is no work from home system at SPC Kozmetik. In addition, there is no subcontracting system in our factory.

Occupational Health and Safety

In all its activities, it aims to consider people as the most valuable asset, create a safer and healthier working environment, and minimize any possible loss as a priority,

Organize trainings to ensure that all employees are aware of their individual responsibilities on the subject, provide the necessary equipment in terms of Occupational Health and Safety, comply with local laws, regulations and conditions regarding Occupational Health and Safety, taking into account SPC Kozmetik’s standards and rules, create a communication environment where all employees can work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety policy and raise awareness about the work carried out in this regard, determine the risks related to occupational health and safety hazards that may arise from our institution’s activities, reduce these risks to acceptable levels and keep them under control.

Communication, Requests and Complaints

The company undertakes to establish a good faith relationship with its employees by listening to their opinions, learning from their opinions and taking their opinions into consideration. In this context, it determines employee representatives in accordance with the legal regulations and creates an environment where employees can discuss their problems with the representatives and allows them to submit their written suggestions to the suggestion boxes. When appropriate, it undertakes to establish a dialogue with its stakeholders on workplace rights issues related to the workplace and within its sphere of influence.

Within the scope of this policy, no retaliation or punishment will be applied to employees who express their concerns, concerns and complaints, and the Suggestion, Request and Complaint boxes created for expressing these concerns and concerns will be used. Employees can put all kinds of opinions, requests, complaints and suggestions in the boxes and these are opened and evaluated by the Social Compliance Officer and the worker representative. If there are complaints in the boxes opened with a report, the necessary improvement, corrective and preventive work is carried out for the areas open to improvement.

Recruitment and Employment

The open positions needed by the company management are determined and employment is carried out by the company management in accordance with the law and within the framework of certain rules (foreign national workers, equal approach, leave, wage, holiday, employment contract, etc.). The recruitment process at SPC Kozmetik is carried out in a highly transparent manner. Legal and / or ethical requirements are complied with in intermediary institutions in the recruitment of workers. No recruitment fee is charged from workers at any stage of the recruitment process. Worker contracts accurately reflect the accepted payments and conditions during the employment process and the contracts are easily understood by the workers and signed by them.

Employment Contract

An “Employment Contract and Personnel Regulation” is prepared between the company and the person to be employed, which is in accordance with the workplace and the laws and includes the conditions offered to the candidate personnel. The personnel who accept to start the job are asked to sign the “Employment Contract and Personnel Regulation”.

Supply Chain Management

Our suppliers, whom we prioritize in our purchasing activities, are informed about social compliance rules and their commitments are obtained regarding their compliance with these issues.

Environment

SPC Kozmetik aims to make continuous development towards the management of our impact on the environment and the goal of being sustainable in the long term.

SPC Kozmetik will cooperate with relevant stakeholders for the protection of the environment, better understanding of environmental issues, dissemination of good examples and sustainability studies.

Education

SPC Kozmetik; undertakes to organize internal or external trainings to increase the occupational health and safety awareness of our employees, to support their professional and personal development, and to ensure the continuous development of the company due to the development of the employees through the organized trainings.

Management System

The rules of the international social responsibility organizations (ETI) are followed together with the business partnership rules of our customers, adhering to the applicable laws and regulations. Continuous improvement activities are carried out on this subject and the budget needed for these studies is provided.

Respect for Law

SPC Kozmetik and our employees must comply with the legal order and legislation of our country.

Public Activities

SPC Kozmetik will make efforts to develop its legitimate commercial interests and defend its legal rights. SPC Cosmetics will cooperate with government and other authorized institutions, both directly and through industry/trade organizations, for issues in its field of activity.

Innovation

We will never compromise on the basic principles of product safety in our innovation efforts to meet customer and consumer expectations.

Competition

SPC Cosmetics believes in tough but fair competition and supports the development of necessary competition laws. SPC Cosmetics employees will conduct their activities in accordance with the principles of fair competition and applicable regulations.

Conflicts of Interest

SPC Cosmetics employees will not engage in personal activities that may conflict with their responsibilities related to the company and will prioritize any financial interests that may lead to this. SPC Cosmetics employees cannot use their positions for purposes other than their intended purpose to gain profit for themselves or others. They cannot favor a group or individuals.

Protection of Personal Data

All our employees will act in accordance with the “additional protocol on the protection of personal data” prepared within the framework of the principle of privacy of private life, for all personal data obtained or processed due to business principles within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the protection of personal data.

Compliance-Auditing-Reporting

Compliance with these principles is our indispensable rule.

As the SPC Cosmetics Board of Directors, we are primarily responsible for ensuring that these principles are communicated to all employees and that employees understand and fulfill their requirements. In the event of non-compliance with business principles, our employees and suppliers can report this non-compliance, if necessary anonymously, to the e-mail address business.ethical@spckozmetik.com.tr.

A compliance guarantee and audit of these principles is conducted every year. Compliance with the principles is subject to the Board of Directors’ review, and the Board of Directors is supported by the Corporate Audit Committee and the Risk Committee for this purpose.

The SPC Cosmetics Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that, in the event of a violation of these principles or a suspicion of a violation, this situation is investigated in detail and that the necessary actions are taken against those responsible.

The necessary has been done to ensure that employees can provide such notifications confidentially, and any employee will be prevented from being harmed by making such a notification.

Universal Rights

SPC Cosmetics is a company that respects universal rights. The SPC Cosmetics Universal Rights Policy has been created regarding the subject. This policy has been shared with our suppliers and stakeholders. A Universal Rights Officer has been appointed to our company. Our business stakeholders have documented their direct and indirect impacts on human rights. When our business or our stakeholders have any negative impact on human rights, we address these issues and ensure that they take steps to improve.

When there is any complaint regarding human rights, the complaint should be submitted via business.ethical@spckozmetik.com.tr. No retaliation will be made against the person or company making the complaint.

Worker Impact

SPC Kozmetik keeps statistical information about workers. Work attendance, worker turnover, statistical analyses of work accidents, complaint records and their resolution rates, etc. are the main records kept within this scope.
